Steve brings his keen sense of vision in the areas of innovation and technology to our team.  His detail mindedness and drive along with his experience in leadership and “go-to market” strategies are what make him such a vital part of enDevelopment.

Steve brings over 20+ years of experience in the Technology and Innovation Management space.  Previous to joining enDevelopment Steve was the Director of New Products and Services for Railinc. At Railinc. he led discovery, development, sales, and management of new products and services for the railroad industry which grew to comprise a significant portion of company growth. Steve utilized applied technology, data and subject matter expertise to understand and address customer needs, these areas included asset management and equipment health and location monitoring.

Steve utilized agile software development process to develop and deploy enterprise software solutions that manage key business processes of Fortune 500 companies and led cross-functional business and technical teams to develop analytical products enabling condition-based asset maintenance.

While at Railinc. he initiated and led the Asset Health Strategic Initiative, a 10 year strategy program for the railroad industry to improve the safety and performance of railroad equipment using information technology, data, and subject matter expertise. Steve facilitated a team of senior leaders from multiple railroad-related companies to identify and prioritize investments resulting in large internal and external investments in software development projects within the company and multi-million dollar net benefit to customers.

Before Railininc Steve worked at Crowe Horowath LLP. During in his career there he served as Assistant Director of Innovation Growth and Senior New Product Portfolio Manager he managed portfolio of new products and services, which was responsible to contribute more than 30% of the firm’s annual revenue growth.

Coached product champions and project managers on more than 200 new growth and product improvement projects and provided training and advisory services to senior innovation program leaders.

Developed and refined a long -term strategic growth planning process, which included calculation of Crow’s innovation gap. Designed the corresponding performance management process with leading and lagging success indicators.

Implemented a customer-focused innovation training program, “Speed Innovation,” to accelerate concept generation for high potential opportunities and ingrain innovation best practices and tools into the company’s culture.

Steve has his certification in New Product Development Professional (NPDP) and Pragmatic Marketing Certification.

Steve graduated Magna Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Colorado State University BA History (with concentrations in Business and German Language)
